These are super comfortable and warm, but even the Large size is too tight on me. I wear a size 11 or 11.5 shoe so my feet are fairly average (maybe a little big, but not monstrous). Perhaps my feet are just too wide for them since they bind really tight around the arch of my foot.

I've read a few things about caring for wool socks. Wash them inside out and let them air dry. That helps a little bit, but they are still difficult to get on. I have to shove my arm in there and stretch if out before I put it on my foot. They aren't stretchy enough.

Been waiting for a good deal on women's wool socks for the wife. 4 pairs for $13.28 after tax and surcharge is the best I've seen yet. Hopefully the styles are ok.

BEWARE bought these in large. I am a size 11.5/45 euro and these are WAY small.

Great socks for cold MN. Bought a pack of 4 online a few weeks ago (smaller size). Liked them so much, I bought another pack of 4 in store (larger size). I wear an 8.5 Mens size shoe and I like the larger size better even though it's in the smaller size range, although just barely.

I'm a 12.5 narrow and these fit me just fine. Perhaps the width is the issue for both of you, but maybe they're shrinking in the laundry or something?

I wear a 12 and they fit just fine too.

Reading the reviews, it seems like Costco has changed them through the years, so perhaps the fit depends on which iteration you get. I'm a little bit nervous about buying them due to the negative reviews stating that the thickness has been reduced this year.

I purchased a 4 pack of the ladies last week. I'm not sure what the thickness was before, these are very similar in thickness to your typical cotton crew sock. I was looking for something that wasn't overly bulky. I've had some wigwam in the past that were so thick I couldn't wear them with some of my shoes. laugh out loud

Does costco.com accept visa/MC, or is it Amex only? Thanks
