Works on the GE Link WiFi-controlled light bulbs. Good way to stock up if you purchased the Amazon or Home Depot "buy 2 bulbs get a Wink hub free" deal. The bulbs can be used without the Wink hub/app like a normal LED bulb, which makes it a great deal compared to the generic Chinese $9 LED bulbs on Amazon/eBay.

Code also works on preorders of Wink-compatible GE devices such as the "Nest-killer" thermostat ($40 after coupon code compared to $250 for Nest) or the second generation Spotter trigger device.

That code actually works on everything. I just threw a few of the door sensors on there too for half off.

From what I gather it gets very poor reviews. The HUB is more robust and versatile because you're not tied to a location for operation or dealing with an inferior touchscreen.

How much did you pay? I see that it is pre order but your sentence seems to imply that you have it in hand.

Yea, I just bought 5 packs to secure the 10 windows I have, I hope these pair with my smart things hub... zigbee is hit or miss, I wish they were z-wave, i would feel a little better. I'm crossing my fingers. $10 a piece for a windows/door sensor is a great price. I HOPE THESE PAIR!

These bulbs are dimmable "Via Wink app only." The BR30 and Par38 bulbs are also relatively low lumen output.

i've had it in hands for a few months. I signed up for their kickstarter campaign, heck, almost two years ago or whenever they started that campaign and pledged $100 for an unit. took them more than a year to ship (should have shipped in august of last year but only got it this year). the thing works, but it has a long way before it is perfect. there is no home automation on it yet, meaning i do not get alerts when my sensors are tripped. The GE Wink bulbs work fine as i can turn them on and off, but my schlage door locks don't work almost at all even though they are connected, all this from the almond+ app. had to mess around with the firmware thru ssh as the web gui commands did not stick in order for my verizon microcells to work again after a firmware update.

so, beautiful router (no issues with wifi so far), but lots needs done on the software side to use all that hardware to the full potential. hopefully they will fix the stuff before they release to the public at large.
