Yes it is a good price but for me I prefer Brown switches with Blue or White LEDS but can never find them even in stock. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

the blue switches has the best feel imo but they are the loudest clickers which is a huge turnoff for a lot of people. i don't mind it myself.

$99 too...

RED switches with green LED. I bought one last time and it's very nice for the price.

If you don't need full backlit, you can get the CM rapid TKL with various switches for 80ish.

The fully lit rapid-i with brown switches was on sale for $110 the other day at newegg. So it should be on sale again around that price and might be worth waiting for.

Can someone briefly explain the difference between the types of switches? I wonder if any stores carry them to try out..

Thanks

What features does this keyboard have that make it almost $100? Comparing to the g710 and razer for $90 ish with same back-lid and such ?

WASD also offers a sample pack with each switch. http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/inde...r-kit.html

using this I discovered I like brown switches with a red oring

Quality. A ducky keyboard will be as heavy as a brick.

General consensus is:
Blue for typing, Red for gaming, Brown for both.

However, it's a little more complex than that...
Blue's will naturally "click" because the switch is lightly slammed down at the actuation point (point at which the key registers, about half way down). This is quite satisfying because you know when you've pressed a key and it helps prevent accidental or double presses. However some people complain that you can hear them over VOIP when gaming.
Red's are much smoother and very easy to press. Good for games where you need to spam a button, but more prone to accidental presses when typing.
Brown's are like Red's but have a small bump before the actuation point, this is nice because you can feel when you've pressed the key part the actuation point and even use it to train your fingers to avoid bottoming out a key (more on that below)
Black's are just Red's with a higher actuation force (force required to reach actuation point) and Clear's are heavier Brown's. These are nice if you tend to press your keys harder anyways, but can get tiring for the light handed.

All the switches except Blue's do not make noise on their own, rather the noise is caused by the typist bottoming out the key (pushing the keycap all the way down so it slams on the bottom, rather than stopping after the actuation point). This not only makes noise but also wastes energy and time, so it's good to teach yourself to avoid this habit from membranes.

Here are the animations for each key type to better see what I've explained: http://www.keyboardlover.com/swit...ations.php

But shine 4 is out , what to choose omg

not sure why people love Blue so much... even for typist, typing all day with those loud clicks would annoy not just you.
