Quote from fewlio :
When you're trying to select a tab, and it closes, or you're trying to close a tab, and it instead switches you to a different tab or else doesn't react at all, that is a defect. Programmers clearly knew this was an issue because browser is always asking "did you mean to close this tab?"

You want further proof? Go to a multi-threaded page discussion on any message board, try to select a certain page number without massively zooming the screen. My surface and old iPad could do it, the Tab S more often than not took me to the WRONG PAGE. Worst touch interface I've ever used!!

Topspin2000: " I have similar issues all the time with my nexus 7 don't know whether this is just android issue or not. With my iPad and iPhone I never had these issues. They are pinpoint accurate"

kosnarf: what app are you using @fewlio?

Answer: chrome and Dolphin

It was a steal when it was available at staples for 299 plus taxes. This price is really good too thou. Friend wanted this, but he bought the note 10.1 for $325 and not taxes from BH a couple of days ago Frown

just sold my note 2014 last night Frown

if this drops a bit further..........
the build quality between the S line tabs and all previous samsung tablets are a night and day.
extremely well made tablet.

just wondering if the battery holds up.
could never get past 5 hr 30 minutes of screen time with the note 2014.

its idle battery life is crazy good though weeks and barely drops a percent.
that crazy resolution screen drains battery like theres no tomorrow.

the s line has amoled so if your screen mainly consists of black on what you do, it should be a bit better but not sure by how much, because i don't know if it's the backlight or the power needed to push out all that resolution thats taking up all the juice.

I just got this from Costco for $380... but I'm happy to have the generous return policy and extra coverage. FWIW, the Titanium Bronze color is really nice... none of the pictures really do it justice, since it is such a subtle bronze color. I would've bought the white if it had been available at the time, but I am so glad I didn't. Quite satisfied with this tablet.

I got shot down at Staples, but ended up finding an open box one at Best Buy for $339 plus tax. Very happy with this tablet! I use it mostly for watching TV shows and movies, and it really delivers in that area.

Pretty good deal. It's tax and shipping free to CA residents. At this price, it's like buying the tablet for $325 + tax at any retail store in CA.
