Awesome OP. Thank you so much. Have been waiting for TS-251 to drop.Snagged one with free shipping and 5% discover cashback.. Was waiting for a deal, which comes closer to $253 lowest price. Amazon and newegg is pricing between $336 and $314 for past 4 weeks now.

not sure what to do. I was kinda hoping this price would come back, but I was also hoping for a deal on the 453. Not sure if I really need it or not, though

are you bonding NICs or do you have 50 or more users? what is your use case? if you are just one person or a family then I don't see why you need the 453.

OP or mod should fix this post's title.

Just maybe hoping for some overhead to rum some VM's. But more than likely, I'd only have 1 running to mess around with and it wouldn't be heavily CPU intensive. Oh, and the metal case would be nice

According to what Fry's has posted in the ad, it says it already has 4GB so just need to add 4GB to it.

Celeron certainly ain't no Atom, but it certainly ain't no i3 either. Never buy a nas without an i3.
Why would a NAS need an i3?

Picture shows 4GB memory which is ~$550 on amazon right now, but the detailed description doesn't give any specifics online, wonder if that's a mistake in the ad?

Is this a good price? It's on my things to buy list but I'd rather not splurge now if it might be cheaper in 6 months which is when I'll probably be buying the drives.
