Not sure but their Tech support is bottom of the barrel. along with their crappy rma and destroying sd cards and blaming the fault on the end user. This company is just awful.

No, it's usually different packaging... maybe a new logo or comparison chart on the back.

Transcend cards are the ONLY kind of flash memory I have had fail on me. Coupled with poor RMA service. For the same price, definitely get the EVO - the graphs near the top post show that it's a better performer too.

FWIW, flash memory chip MANUFACTURERS like Samsung, Sandisk, Micron (who owns Lexar and Crucial) will cherry pick the best chips for their own products and then sell the rest to companies like Transcend, Patriot, PNY, etc.
