Looks like a decent deal, specially if you have an iPhone 4 to trade in.

Deal does not mention specifics with regards to contract type (ie Edge, or anything like it) assume 2yr contract.

Good until 12/13/2014

None of these type of deals do any good to Att NEXT type of plans... These are good for 2 yr contract types only... Come to think of it, if you do a ATT NEXT, what will you use the trade in value for?

Hmm,

Any info on this would be huge.

Just upgraded to free 5s yesterday but I'd definitely return for this since we have a bunch of 4, 4s.

Did it happen to me only that the walmart 2 yr agreement I signed for iphone 6 last week mentioned that in case of early termination of the service, I will have to pay -
1. ETF to the service provider (Verizon)
2. Full price of the phone (minus $179 that I paid at the time of purchasing the phone).

I went back and forth with Verizon and walmart but nothing happened. Finally, I returned the phone to walmart. Did not want to take any chance.

Wonder if you could combine this with Verizon's offer of $150 bill credit for every smartphone you move over to Verizon. The wife and kids are on PagePlus, could end up w/ 3 free iPhone 6's and $450 towards the bill.

This looks like a repackaging of the typical AT&T Next program upgrade, where they're giving you the option of upgrading into Next (if you have good credit), and you don't pay anything up front, even if you DO have monthly payments from there on. Or they give you the option of upgrading to a new 2-year plan for $179, which is $20 off for the 16GB version, and matches Costco for that phone. Pretty deceptive to me.
