The Holiday Starbucks Card eGift promotion with Visa has now expired.

If you are buying multiples you must use a new Visa number AND a different sending from email address. This is clearly stated in the following part of the terms:

"How to Participate:

Take the following steps during the Promotion Period to receive a Bonus Load:

2. Second, purchase a minimum $10 Starbucks Card eGift for a friend or family member using your Visa® card. You must use a unique email address and a unique Visa® account number when you purchase the eGift. You cannot purchase an eGift for yourself.

You are only eligible to receive one Bonus Load if you buy a minimum $10 Starbucks Card eGift with a valid Visa® card, send it to someone else, and otherwise meet these promotional offer requirements. You are not eligible for the Bonus Load if you send the eGift to yourself.

If you are one of the first 100,000 people during the Promotion Period to complete steps 1-2 above and meet these promotional offer requirements, you will receive a Bonus Load. YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE A BONUS LOAD. Qualifying customers will see the $10 Bonus Load added to their Starbucks Card eGift purchase receipt. Starbucks will not be responsible for any late, lost, misrouted, or non-delivered e-mails, or other computer- or communications-related failures, caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Starbucks."

Promo work fine using visa debit card.

If you have a Starbucks Card that hasn't been used, you may return it by calling 1-800-STARBUC (782-7282). You'll be asked to provide the original receipt. We'll send your refund check to you in the mail about 3-4 weeks after your call.

Promo is WORKING now as of 12:05pm EST

Per the customer service rep that I spoke with at 1-800-782-7282 the promotion did not start until 12 noon EST, so anybody who purchased before that is SOL (if your friend has added the GC to his/her account). I got transferred twice and spoke with 2 different reps and a supervisor who all told me that while they are sorry, there is nothing that they can do to manually give my friend $10 as they do not have the authority. - zephear

Update by zephear 2:27 EST : I called the 1-800-782-7282 number again and after being on hold for 20+ mins and getting transferred without warning to egift card department that was not helpful at all, I tried one more time and spoke with somebody who was very sympathetic and helpful and manually loaded $10 to one of my own cards. If you are in the same boat, i.e. purchased before 12 EST, just keep trying and speak with the REGULAR gc (not e-gc) customer service. - zephear

--I bought BEFORE the noon and the extra $10 never showed up. I called the Starbuck CS number (had to wait 15 min on hold). They gave me the extra $10 no questions asked on the card. They WILL need the Starbucks card number though, so get that back from your "friend". -adam empire

Placed an order for my "friend" at 10am PST. It is 12:11pm PST and my friend just received the gift. It does take a while to receive.
