If you own a (United States?) inactive World of Warcraft account, check your account status on battle.net to see if you qualify for a 10 day free trial of Warlords of Draenor. Activating the trial will automatically grant you access to Warlords of Draenor content, regardless of whether or not you previously purchased the WoD expansion pack.

I just checked my account just now and discovered the 10 day free trial. EEK! I personally did not purchase the WoD xpac and my account was deactivated for 3 years. The offer could be targeted or available only to account owners who have not used a trial yet, so YMMV.

Step-by-step:
  1. Log into your account at battle.net.
  2. Use your authenticator code at the prompt if you obtained an authenticator.
  3. Select the World of Warcraft account menu.
  4. Look for the image of the box of the angry red orc Mad to the right side of the screen: the offer should be the THIRD LINE below the image.
  5. Click on the 10 day free trial if its available, and it will automatically activate.
  6. Download the World of Warcraft client. (WARNING: 28GB DOWNLOAD!!!)

UPDATE: The trial will give you access to Warlords of Draenor content (including Garrisons), but YOUR CHARACTER WILL BE LEVEL CAPPED AT 90.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It was right on my main WoW account page, here's a screenshot of what it looks like now:

The angry orc is the red box there, there was a third option that said "10 Day Trial."

Using the image above, there should be three options under Upgrade available: Warlords of Draenor... third one being Free 10 Day Trial.
Thanks OP.

Yeah, as mentioned above once you log in you actually need to click on your WoW account and then it should show up in the red box on the right hand side: http://i.imgur.com/iEI55bR.jpg

Wonder if it's available to a person like me, who resubbed recently(2 weeks ago), but has not bought the expansion(just won't pay $50 for the x-pak, waiting for a sale). I guess I'll see tonight.

Thanks, I got the 10 free days added. Time to play a crap ton within 10 days and quit until next expansion again like I did with mists.

Can the bot help you to get max level in 10 days?

They usually do this.. I accidentally pressed the button to get the 10 days, there is no confirmation if you want the 10 days or not... So be careful if you are not ready to play... I didn't even get a chance to play.. =(

I'm getting the same thing too.

It's for the best, though. Doesn't Blizz know it's finals week?
