The Microsoft Store online has the new HP Stream 7 tablet for $99.

Update: The $25 off $75 coupon code that was sent out by MS Store via a text that when I originally posted this deal was pulled from the MS Store site citing that the promotion ended but codes were still being issued as of 9am pacific time. Because the deal of the day was the Fitbit bundle and the $25 off offer was posted on that product page, they more than likely meant to remove it earlier before the deal of the day bundle went live but failed to do so.

Instead you can text the word MSSTORE to 29502 and receive a 5% off code bringing the total down to $89.10

The Signature Edition Stream 7 also comes with a 12-month Office 365 Personal subscription too.

Does not come with physical Office 365 code card, not sure how to sell the subscription

NOTE: $89.10 now - OP, please update title!Smilie

About 19GB of storage space is free out of the box.

Custom font size of 175% is ideal for readability.

Civilization V via Steam loads and runs in the lowest possible setting. This game's requirement is 2GB of RAM and yet it runs, but it crashes from time to time. Playing Civ 5 with the touch screen is a whole other level of experience.

The Microsoft Office 365 license is for 1 tablet and 1 PC. When I activated mine in this tablet, it also allowed me to install it to one more PC that I own. There are options to deactivate these installations.

Call of Duty Heroes from the store wouldn't install.
Asphalt 8 from the store is perfectly playable.
Halo Spartan Assault from the store is perfectly playable.

Shortcut to disable/enable automatic screen rotate:
Bring out the charms bar, tap on settings, tap on 'screen'. There is an icon above the brightness slider that can be toggled on and off to disable/enable automatic screen rotation.

Thanks OP! I've been waiting patiently for a deal on a Stream 7 and this is the best I've seen (that was also in stock Big Grin). Thanks again!

1GB of RAM makes this tablet about worthless IMHO. It's just not enough, and will get bogged down quick.

I had bought a HP Stream 7 and the tablet performed and looked like a $50 cheepo.. I RETURNED IT.. Also poor front and rear cameras. Battery life was lucky to hit 2hrs of websurfing.

Do you mean online or in-store you get stack the 10% off with the $xx off code as well?

The educational discount works but the extra 5% off will not stack. Did you get it to work?

Both codes stacked for me, but MSSTORE only gave me 5% (total = $69.05). Trying to decide why I would buy this, but can't come up with a good reason.

I probably wouldn't get this for a child, programs always need setting up, tweaking, updating; and windows just has so many ways to corrupt the os, endless browser popups, get hacked, download malware and even spreading it over your network, compared to ios or even android
