People who missed the Walmart Black Friday TVs for $115. Not sure where to post, but YMMV.

Thread Details

I missed out on this TV deal and contacted Walmart around a week ago.
Today I received a call and was told to call this number with my reference number.

If you guys missed out on the TV deal; I would possibly give them a call and see what they can do.

They told me my local store would contact me within 3 days for an alternative.
The alternative will probably be a Sony, Samsung, or LG from what the rep. told me.

Anyways, good luck to anyone who missed out on the deal.

This goes for pretty much every company. If you complain enough, you'll get what you want.

So you say you missed out on a deal. Does that mean you ordered something and then it became cancelled, or did you just forget about it?

The rep you spoke with specifically started saying they'll give you a Samsung or Sony.........really?

What deal was it for that you "missed out on."

I just find this weird that Walmart customer service would have you call another number when they have supervisors to handle these kinds of problems. There has to be more to this story.

I was in Walmart getting my hair washed when I saw this deal and they ran out, they had a list that you could put your name on and were supposed to call, but never did and I've been in the same store several times and inquired about this list, now I have a resource! Thanx and THUMBS UP! I had no idea. I understand some posts are not for all but some can help others, don't understand the thumbs down for this post, can possibly help me. Thanx again!

I just called the 800 number. After chatting with the rep I was advised that the local store is suppose to call me back within 3 business days to offer me the 40" TV for $115.... I will update with the outcome.

I second that. TV is awesome for $115 and I was lucky to snag one for pickup.

Went to Walmart today to PM a controller and saw a pallet of the Hisense TV for $239.

Yeah, they are more than likely handing those out for $115 still if you contact corporate. I wouldn't complain unless you really had issues getting the deal though.
