Better price than the Surface 3 and you can actually use it as a laptop instead of a gimmicky tablet.

depends on the cashier, some will just do it without asking, some just straight up denying it

Here we go again. YMMV on the coupons stacking.
BB forum is flooded with varying cases. Some people have lucked out when showing the BB manager print outs of the threads

Just tell them which one you want and when you get to the register tell them you have coupons and hand them to the guy. Don't ask if it is okay, just do it.

For those that did the previous deal (starting price was $899) does Best Buy allow for price matching within the return period?

I thought I read somewhere you have to buy something in addition to the macbook in order to either get the 10% off or get the coupons to stack (I don't remember which). is that correct?

Then you need to go to your local USPS and ask them for a "movers packet" and inside there will be a 10% off coupon.

best buy managers need better training. They have no clue what their policies are. in one store, you can have it go either way. some managers are so stuck up that they won't budge and only let you use one coupon. and if there is a price match, go a few days later to have it applied. works better that way for me
