  1. Go to your local Staples and have them PM the Best Buy price of $899 for the i5/128 GB Surface Pro 3
  2. Use the $100.00 off $499 or higher (if you can get them to apply after PM) Coupon 13157
  3. Add some small filler to get your subtotal to the next round hundred
  4. Use coupon 73798 which will give you $15 back for every $100 spent
  5. There is a $100 rebate on the Surface Pro 3

So $899.99
- $100 coupon
- $100 rebate
- $120 in rewards ($15 x 8)

Even if the $100 off coupon won't work, you'll still get the Surface Pro for $899 + tax and a $100 Visa gift card and $120 in rewards.

Not very familiar with Staples coupons. Do you literally just start listing off coupon codes and hope they apply them? How would a cashier know what's valid or not or the terms of the coupon to decide if they should allow it or not?

The coupon says laptops, desktops, and all-in-ones, but I believe it has worked for the i3 Surface Pro 3.

So does the SP3 count as a "tablet?" This does seem like a solid deal if it would work.

People have reported in other threads that certain Staples considers them laptops. It's a really confusing item since Microsoft considers it both a tablet and a laptop so technically a manager would not be wrong accepting or denying either description.

According to few posts, Surface Pro is considered as Laptop. However, I was at Staples to PM for iPad Air 32GB, manager said he cannot apply $ off coupons for PM. He said 15% rewards is not an issue.

I would be all over this if I can figure out how to convert my msft store credits into staples credit or get MSFT to PM

Many hoops but might be possible.

Seriously? Think about it: even after so many hoops, this does not come with a keyboard that MacBook Air comes with. Also Air comes with some good software preloaded and potential for many other connections. Surface is way overpriced for its features and the only one plus point of being a touchscreen tablet. Also it is bulkier than an Air, specially an 11-inch one. Not a big fan of Apple here but I do think Surface Pro is crappier and overpriced when compared at this price point.

1. 14620 applies but doesn't give $100 discount.
2. Coupons do not stack. I could apply only one coupon. The reward code cannot be applied after $100 discount.
