Hey guys, I don't know if some of you are aware of this, but you can share games on the Xbox One with one other person.

You can look at the links above, but basically you can share your Digital Downloaded Xbox One games with one other person.

For example, I download the Digital Version of, lets say CoD: Advanced Warfare (and I even buy the season pass). So now I have the game. But, lets so your friend bought the Digital Version of Destiny and you both want both the games. Where this is where game sharing comes into play.

Say Player 1 has CoD and Player 2 has Destiny. Player 1 can give Player 2 his account and Player 2 can give Player 1 this account. Now the only tricky part is that each Player needs to go to setting on the Xbox One while signed into the other person's account and their X1 as their home console and vice versa. By doing this it gives both players the ability to download each others games free of charge and they can both play at the same time.

One small catch is that you can set an account as a home xbox 3 times a year before it resets so you can do it again. Also games do not stack up, meaning, if I own CoD and share with my friend and then my friend wants to share that with another friend than it wont work.

What it boils down too is that what you Download a Digital Version of a game you get 2 license. You get one for that particular xbox that you downloaded the game from, and you also get one for your account. So that means you can take your account over to your friends house and download the game you bought and be able to play it on your friends console.

I hope this is all making sense. Also, for those wondering it, it is legal, MS put this for a good reason,

Now I know this is a long shot, and I don't want to sound like a big begger or anything but if anyone would to share their account with me so I could play some games I would more than appreciate it. Just send me a PM and maybe we could work out an agreement of some kind. I know no one on here knows me but I am just playing some X1 games i can't afford.

Well, for those that read this, thank you for reading and Merry Christmas too all!

-Remember you can only set your account to be a home xbox 3 times a year.

Smilie

I believe so, what I do know is that say you and a relative share the same Xbox. Say you purchase a 1 year subscription to XBL. I believe you have the ability to share gold with anyone else on that xbox or you have the ability to turn that feature off.

And this might work as well, say for example your brother has an xbox one and live across the street and you have an xbox one at your house but you don't have a gold membership. Well your brother could give you his account details and you add his account to your xbox and you will be able to have access to his games and I think be able to share his gold subscription with him.

You do however have to set his account as the home xbox on your xbox and you can only do that 3 times a year.

The links I posted above should provide a little more detail and may be a little more clear.

Maybe we should make a thread saying Powerstar Golf is Free to Play also!

I know your heart was in the right place, sometimes these White Knight threads get a little cluttery though.
