KH2.5 is being much more stubborn about going down in price than 1.5 was.

So did KH1.5 and it was on sale for $20 on amazon immediately. So...not sure what your point is.

...being on sale and having a price drop are two different things. game prices usually drop permanently after 3 months not the first month. that's my point.

GameStop had the Limited Editon for $29.99...(YMMV)

Just use the store locator and pick up at store.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 came out in September and barring one limited Fry's sale w/ promo code) didn't really hit $20 until Black Friday. That's almost a 3 month difference compared to 2.5 which came out this month.

You might be thinking about FFX/X-2 HD which got an unexpected drop to $25 at gamestop shortly after release but wouldn't be considered the norm for any of the HD collections in the past few years.

I want to buy but I just have to hold out for the possibility of both 1.5 and 2.5 coming out for the PS4. I already bought 1.5 last Christmas (thankfully for only $20) and I'm not going to touch it until they confirm or deny a PS4 release. If they don't do it, by the time I play and beat 1.5, 2.5 will probably be at $30 anyway.

really don't understand what the point is of waiting for a ps4 release unless u don't have a ps3 anymore... it's not like they can add any new extra stuff to a game that's almost 10 years old except for a graphics overhaul... and it'll probably be awhile for the ps4 port

I recently bought a PS4 and XB1 so my PS3 is sitting in my closet, I don't have room for it now so I would have to take one of my other consoles down every time I want to play my PS3. Also, I have a massive list of games to play, so I'm guessing it'll take me over a year to get to Kingdom Hearts since remasters are at the bottom of my list vs new games. By then if a PS4 version is coming out it will probably be out (if going by Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster PS4 version, which is coming out about a year after the PS3 version). Plus yeah graphics, I don't want to play the PS3 version only to find out there's a better looking version coming, even if not by much. It's more about hoping they are able to do 60 fps, but the increase to fidelity is nice. I'd rather wait. It's just a combination of those things. Yes, the first world problems are strong in this post, but remember that video games are very first world to begin with :p You wanted to know.
