At full price, it's not a slick deal. However, if you want a Fire TV Stick, this seems to be the only way to get one within the next 6+ weeks. Amazon is currently back ordered until Feb 17. It was early January just a couple days ago.

Free shipping to store or add filler to reach the $50 limit for free shipping. Otherwise, shipping is a deal busting $9.99.

This can be a Slick Deal if you have (or purchase) a $30 off $80 coupon.

Add 2 FireTV Sticks to your cart for a total of $78.

Add any item over $2 to fill. I used this eraser @ $2 even (multiple colors available BTW):

Your total is $80 even before coupon - $50 after. Free shipping or store pickup + tax (if it applies.)

With cost of coupon, this came out to about $61 total for me, or $30.50 for each FireTV Stick. Not the $25 dollar deal - but as close as you can get right now on in-stock FireTV Sticks!

Here's another possible way [staples.com] to get one for $15 in the future once you get your rebate (assuming you need and are going to buy the paper anyway):

Buy a 5 ream case of copy paper for $25 with coupon and get a $24 easy rebate. (Coupon expires 1/3/15)

$39 FireTV Stick - $24 rebate = $15 FireTV stick (assuming stock when rebate is available).

Oh, you mean shipping is 9.99. Not a slick deal at all for regular price.

Yes, that's the standard price, which OP mentions.

i got this when it was $19 from amazon - can i ask why is this so popular? i don't hate it but it's nothing to write home about. yeah it's great for prime tv and movies but the espn app written for it is completely unusable - it stutters so much while my chromecast has no issues getting the stream from my tablet's espn app

Plex works great and it is very easy to install XBMC on it.

Genesis on XBMC basically gives you every TV show and Movie out there for free and the video playback is great quality.

Couldn't agree with you more! Smilie

Just want to add that Fire TV Stick is always around $19.99 unless you're an idiot.
(aslo, regular Fire TV is always less than $59.99 unless you're an idiot)
