Use these once a week and have had the same pair for five years. Work great.

I've been cutting my own hair for about 2 years. Used a corded one up until 2 weeks ago.

Bought a (more expensive) lithium ion cordless and it's great. If you have to cut your hair outside or in the garage, this is the way to go.

Not an exact size, but an estimate of an inch 1/2 to 2 inches.

I've used this three times and I cut my hair better than any barber. First time was scary, but with the guards and taking my time it came out well. This comes with over the ear guard as well. Also, you can buy up to 2 inch guard that will fit this, but I prefer an inch and less on the sides and back.

Anyone know how to sharpen the blades on these things? In the past I've had hit or miss luck with just removing the blades and "flat facing" them with some automotive sandpaper and a flat surface (e.g. glass). Most of the time I wind up wrecking the cutting function - the clippers won't cut but instead pull, and the "power screw" is all farked up. as a result I wind up just buying new cutters.
