PIPO X7 at GeekBuying [geekbuying.com]
Got their sale flyer email and saw this mini-pc for $113.29 but when I click on the link the price is even lower at $97.99.

The pc got a Bay Trail Atom Z3736F / 2 Gig RAM and 32 Gig EMMC / HDMI and Windows 8.1 with Bing and 1 year Office 365 subscription.

I must have ordered from GeekBuying before, probably an Android stick or toy quadcopter, but don't remember anything about the experience. Hopefully other who shopped there before can comment on their reputation.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Is good enough to run Plex server with transcode on the fly?

Seems pretty valid in this case, especially considered it is marketed as a "tv box"

Valid or not, it is as common as the HDMI question on here.

Maybe it can replace the HDMI question, which was played out years ago!

Wow.. cheap.. wonder if this is essentially the same hardware as tablets with the same specs or if they cheap out on components. Would make a good thin client, though I've never heard of the site before

"Once connected this player to the HDMI interface of TV, it will converts the regular TV into a Smart TV which likes a PC"

Gotta love the Engrish.
