Promo Code: EMCAKAS22

Note that this is the *new* model that includes current limiting, which means if a USB port is overloaded there's no fuse to permanately shut it down. This is the first time that this particular model has been discounted below $20.

You guys should buy your Anker products on Amazon rather than Newegg. If you have problems and purchased on Amazon and contact Anker they are quick to fix/replace.

With Newegg you will get the runaround. Newegg will point to Anker and Anker will point to Newegg. Look at the previous reviews at Newegg for Anker chargers. Anker says they will only warranty if purchased from Amazon or directly from Anker. I don't know if it's changed though.

Quote from Anker support email :
Please be advised that both are for our 40w wall chargers, the first one is the fuse version while the second one is the upgraded current limited version.
According to Amazon the "40W 5 Port" model was Replaced by a newer version, a 60W 6port model

Old model (same as newegg) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...UTF8&psc=1
look at the "There is a newer version of this item:" area on that page.

Assuming this is the newer version...seems like a great deal. Thanks OP.

It's great but not worth it for new phones as this one does not support quick charge 2.0

I have one which is almost new and it's sitting in the box unused

Quick charge is only on a few phones (i.e. Note 4, Droid Turbo I think and a few others, it is not universal). If you don't have a higher end phone that came out in the last 4 or so months you probably don't have Quick Charge 2.0. Plugging in a non-Quick Charge Phone into a Quick Charge charger doesn't really change anything.

So probably not enough power to fast charge some 9"+ tablets also.

This provides 2.4A per outlet, maximum. That's enough to run just about any device that uses a standard USB charger.

you wouldn't happen to have a photo of the aftermath would you? would be interesting to see. I own 3-4 of these anker chargers from various generations.

Ordered this from Amazon a while back with the 5 Anker cables included. Ridiculously awesome product - we keep it on the night stand and plug all our phones, tablets, headphones, etc. etc. in every night.

HIGHLY recommend!
