This site has emulators to play many old DOS games from the 1980's and newer.

Some classics that I found so far:
Duke Nukem 3d
Dune 2 (the grandfather of RTS games)
Caveman Ugh-lmpics (out run a sabertooth tiger or at least your friend!)
Prince of Persia
Wolfenstein 3d
Doom
Wasteland
Master of Orion
Rampage
Neverwinter Nights
and tons more.

UPDATED - I saw this article about the games today - it references that they were just recently posted which I know was asked here in the thread.

Yeah - I tried a few of them and had some ok with the sound and some bad - I will try other browsers and see if running with only one tab open helps.

Brings back lots of memories!

Actually if you're technologically inclined, you can grab the .zip file from the URL, and manually run Dosbox :-)

Thank you for the tip - that is great. I was surprised it ran in a browser myself.

Just found some fun old games like Autoduel and Fantasy Empires.

I tried searching on the site for any disclaimers. It sounds like the main goal is to preserve them so they are not lost. Not a commercial venture as far as I can see. I know a lot of the companies are no longer in business. If someone could give a definite answer that would be a big help.

I found this article describing the site - I will check their comments section to see what they say about legality.

Wow I've actually played a surprising number of those and I never considered myself much of a DOS game player. There are a lot of great classic games in there. I forgot about Lemmings, The Incredible Machine, Silent Service... cool to look through but my backlog might be too big to ever go back in time Smilie

That's a great service of them to make all those games available.
