Just got back from CES 2015 and got a little nugget from the Escort Radar booth. Prices for a few of the radars puts it below what other front page deals have been. Looks like shipping is free for the radars and the code works on accessories as well (might not include free shipping)

40% off with promo code: CES15. Offer ends 1/18 at 11:59pm! I have confirmed that it's working on a few of their radars so far! Product page: https://www.escortradar.com/products.php

Escort Passport MAX2 MSRP: 599.95 - 40% (239.98) = $359.97 + tax
Escort Passport MSRP: 349.95 - 40% (139.98) = $209.97 +tax
Escort RedLine MSRP: 499.95 - 40% (199.98) = $299.97 + tax
Escort Passport 9500 IX = 449.95 - 40% (179.98) = 269.97 + tax
Escort Passport 8500 X50 = 299.95 - 40% (119.98) = 179.97 + tax

For reference: Escort 9500 ix made front page with a price of 275 refurbished, and the redline was a popular deal at 399 (new) and 340 (refurb), 8500 X50 made front page at $180.

The Escort Passport Max2 is their newest radar and includes bluetooth so that it can pair with your android or ios phone. When I saw it at CES it showed live views of speed traps and what not on the phone app with three different colors to tell you how long ago the speed trap was last seen. Personally I own a 9500ix that I got for $300

This code will NOT being coming back. It was only for people who went to the CES show. I tried to place a phone order and asked if I could use the code they asked me if I went to CES 2015. I asked if they will cancel the orders and they..don't know. If you call in and tell them you went to CES 2015 they might still sell it to you

Still live if you call in and give them their booth number. Its on their twitter post...

They are now asking for a badge number aswell....so its really YMMV now.

Depends on what features you are looking for.

Redline is the best for range, but you'd mostly want to use it for highway that too for roadtrips. I think max2 and 9500ix are same in range, max2 just has fancy LCD et al.

FP for sure. Wish I had an excuse to dump my 6 month old x50.

thanks. i've always wanted to try a radar detector, but didn't want to waste money on a crappy one. doubt i'll see the redline cheaper than this. at 40% off, i can probably sell it used and get my money entirely back on ebay if i decided to sell it later.

man very good prices. I have a Red Line that occasionally gives me the POP Alert for no reason but works great on other bands. should I go for a MAX 2? decisions decisions....

Works on accessories too. I highly recommend the Direct Wire SmartCord [escortradar.com] to give it a clean look for those who don't like cords dangling from the windshield. I have mine wired to the interior dome light so it's completely hidden.
