Thanks for sharing this coupon deal. Unlike other $7 deal I found, this does NOT auto-renew.

This is a good find, but this mag is just about worthless. I was disappointed.

I have never seen more erectile disfunction and hearing aid ads in one publication.

The ads to article ratio in this magazine is about 25:1. Not worth it.

I subscribed to this for years, but stopped about 3-4 ago. At this point's it's basically an advertisement insert, with a couple superficial articles squeezed in, and some of those are little more than thinly disguised ads themselves (new tools, etc). It would have to be free at this point for me to even consider bothering.

For example of "superficial," the example mag cover image shows something about a "dream shed." My prediction is that when you look inside this issue, you will see maybe 3-5 pages devoted to it, and mostly pictures, and text which will barely do much more than say the obvious, and very basic blueprints, for a very basic cookie cutter shed (just a prediction). If you were looking to build a shed, you would be a fool to rely on what they have in this issue.

I stopped subscribing to FH after I started noticing articles would repeat themselves every year. Expect to see a "Spring Cleaning of your Garage" or "Ultimate Garage in a Weekend" article in March.... Smilie

Based on what I'm reading about the magazine and lack of content I'd suggest just going to their website. They have a lot of information there.

Slick likes this magazine it has a lot of useful ideas and reviews. However, the content is very light so just use it as a starting point for research. I just get this online I dont think i would subscribe to this.

After a few years, very repetitive. Like someone else said, each month is basically a repetition of the month in the prior years. Got a few good tips & tricks here and there, and some inspiration for projects you didn't think of yet.

I think this is a very good magazine. The projects listed exactly match the skill level of a "handy man", they are not overly simple, but aren't so complex that you need to be a professional either. Thanks for the posting.
