DOTD - $6.75 For Original Apple Lightning to USB + Free Shipping (For: iPhone 5/5C/5S/6/6+, iPad Mini, iPad Air/2, etc.)

Website claims they are "Original Apple" usually I would be skeptical at this price... but this item has 4+ stars from 85 Reviews. Either they are legit or really good fakes.

Regular Price: $19.99

Why the trash talk? I have purchased these a number of times from A4C and never had any issue - I find it funny that everyone jumps on other cable deals they have but as soon as they put up an Apple one everyone jumps on it and says it's fake...........

These cables were fake last time, and are most certainly fake this time.

Fake cables have limited usability (if any) and any functionality is often short lived. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK, but as a previous buyer I would recommend not buying!

EDIT: Many sellers claim their cables are 100% authentic OEM and then claim they were either sold fakes, their buyer made a mistake, or similar. There is no seller recourse and most buyers won't bother returning a broken cable that only cost them a few dollars, so these sellers get away with it. The chance of you receiving a true OEM lightning cable for less that $15 is almost zero!

If you're going to spend $6 why not spend $7 and get an MFi cable from amazon.

Confirmed fake deal: Bluetek.& A4C are the same company are have terrible reviews on http://www.resellerratings.com/

Current deal: A4C is same as Blutek they are both fake deals and the same company.

Also untrue is the claim that you can't get good cables for less than $15. MFi certified cables from Anker, Monoprice, and Amazon go for less all the time.
For example: MFi certified cable, 1.5M $7 free prime shipping at amazon. http://amzn.com/B00LWQIN0A

Should be this price or lower all the time. Decent price. I purchased some of the Amazon cables around that price recently and they are good(and came in black)

I would guess that is bald faced lie. Its generally easy to telll a knock off when you compare side by side with apple. I'd be interested to know if someone does the compare when they arrive.

Does it really matter the brand? These sell for 2 bucks on eBay. Is there any concern going with a knockoff to charge a 5S?

I think all that matters is the reviews- as long as there's lots of people standing behind the cable, we can trust it's authenticity

You will get a message on your screen saying the cable isn't compatible. It may or may not charge your phone. Thing is, do you really want to trust a $2 eBay cable to charge your $600 phone?

Strange that a4c.com has great ratings (4.6 out of 5 stars) on Amazon [amazon.com] and terrible ratings (3.16 out of 10 stars) on Reseller ratings [resellerratings.com].
