I was about to buy this yesterday, but looked in my cart and saw that it was -$20 rebate from MSI - Free Prime shipping w/ Amazon.

It matches the previous best price I could find.

edit::: ****If you really wanted it from Amazon for the $69.99, you may have luck contacting customer service to get the $10 back in promotional credit after you buy it. Just link a promotions and rebates/coupons CSR to the Fry's website, and YMMV."

Here's one for $69.99 AR from Fry's :

This motherboard can be had for cheaper at Frys.com ($69.99 after $30 rebate [frys.com]) here: LINK [frys.com]. Free shipping, too, just not 2-day express! One big warning, though: The Frys.com webpage states that this will ship by Monday, 1/26. This could be cutting it too close for the rebate! EEK![LIST]

OP,

Please update your title to mATX form factor, and add tax where applicable. This is a good deal for a recent LGA1150 generation.

Not bad at all. Newegg had it for $104, but it's OOS now. Since Amazon has elected to start charging me tax, I elect to wait until I get it for this price w/o tax.
Repped for the find, though!

Well, it can be had for cheaper at Frys.com ($69.99 after $30 rebate [frys.com]) here: LINK [frys.com].
  • Be aware that the rebate for the purchase at Fry's must be mailed within 15 days of purchase!

Frys.com also has free shipping on this item. So, if you are in a state where you don't get taxed on purchases from Frys.com, then you can do much better than NewEgg or Amazon with this motherboard.Cool

One big warning, though: The Frys.com webpage states that this will ship by Monday, 1/26. This could be cutting it too close for the rebate! EEK!

is this a good motherboard? Planning to build a gaming desktop, doesn't need to be super powered but hoping to run all the new games on at least medium settings.

Minimum a dual core with a high clock speed or a i3 (preferable) and GTX 760 to run on medium setting @1080p on "most new games."

Your question is too generic to answer. Most Zx7 series Haswell-based motherboards are capable of deliver what we need. However, we pick them based on the brand reputation, feature and look.

Well, I actually wanted to get a 4th gen i5 cpu. Then buy two budget graphic card to crossfire, or sli. Whichever one runs better.
Then planning to get some ram like this.

I am searching for a case that is quiet. My friend recommended the Fractal Design Define R4.
Anyone have any advice to make this better?
