Wow! New ad starts in 12 hours and this thread has two posts.

Hey Walgreens Corp, if you're still keeping tabs on us, this should be a pretty good indication of how bad your offers are these days. wave

I'm like a jelly fish. I drift from one cheap/free one-a-day vitamin to the next depending on what comes down the line with a good offer. So u-be-livin-smart will fit the bill.

It used to be said that an infinite number of monkeys with typewriters would eventaully write all the great works of literature by random chance.
Thanks to Twitter and Facebook we now know this is not true.

I just want to put in a shout to delftgirl who keeps rocking the fillers list every week, even though participation in the Wags forums lately has been lackluster .... to say the least ....

It will shock you to learn that I was out on the old stomping grounds today, looking for i-cool in preparation for Culturelle week coming up. Found one of my old manager friends and she commented that none of the regulars were coming in anymore. Fancy that! There were 10+ i-Cools left. Even the shelf clearers and Insta-Grabbers have abandoned Wags. So she let me get what I wanted (not 10+). Almost like old times at the farm again. **sigh****

Do they do double dip offers on Saturdays anymore? I used to get great points build up with those.

afaik, EA (early activation) has been discontinued since late 2013(?) so double dipping ended with it. I hope WAG felt dip in their sales last year to make them improve their policies and promos if they want their loyal customers to come back and shop there again.

They keep coming up with new ideas for points, deals, etc., but none of them seem to draw back their loyal customers. I went into a store far off the beaten track from me, they were not very busy either. So it is across the board that the couponers are not going for these ideas. My usually good local store has all the employees panicky about coupons. Plus lots of new employees. BA said they can't keep people in their jobs any more. Lots of turnovers.

The deals are there every now and then. They are definitely not as plentiful. But, I am also finding that if I am going to pay cash for it anyway (due to depleted points), then I might as well buy it at Wally and save a trip, and possibly get a few cents back from the Savings Catcher.

For instance, Axe deo will be B1G1/2 at Wag in week of 2/1 and you can use the nice $2 coupons in the 1/25 paper. But, Axe is $4.99 at Wag so $7.49 - $4.00 = $3.49 for 2. It's $3.88 every day at Wally, $7.76 - $4.00 is $3.76 for 2. I'll pay 27 cents more and skip the side trip to Wag any day.
