Thread Details

I received a mail from Citi which states that their IdentityMonitor Service will be discontinued from 3/15/2015.

Thanks to Slickdeals , i've been a subscriber of this $4.95/month service for years.

Is there a similar , better, cheaper alternative to this credit monitoring service?

Security freeze your credit records and dont worry about unauthorized credit being opened. Easy to unlock when you need to open new credit.

I'm in the same boat and everything I'm seeing online is quite a bit more expensive. Not sure what I will do. Frown

These services are a waste of money, IMO.

Don't believe there is a free service that gives you all 3, however each of these will cover all:

QUIZZLE/MINT - Equifax

Credit Karma - TransUnion

Credit.com/CREDITSESAME - Experian
