Your score won't be available if:
  • You're an authorized user on someone else's account
  • You have a joint account
  • The billing statement is not in your name
  • You recently opened a new account
  • Your card currently does not offer this benefit
  • Your credit card account is no longer active

"No score is available for us to provide to you right now. Please check again later."

Knew this was coming sometime in Jan but thanks for posting! FINALLY free monthly Equifax score.

The Transunion and Equifax scores from credit karma are like 23 higher than the FICO provided by my Discover card, I'm guessing I should go with the Discover score?

Thanks....831. That's like 20 points higher than what I've been getting from Barclays and Discover. I guess because it's Equifax. I think the other two use Transunion.

Yes, Credit Karma scores are what are known as FAKOs, whereas the Discover is an actual FICO score like lenders would use.

FICO range is 250-900. According to faq:

"The FICO® Score most often falls within a 300-850 score range, while the FICO® Industry Scores range between 250 and 900. For the FICO® Score NG, the score will fall within a 150-950 range."

So it looks like the FICO Industry Score is the one I am seeing.

Of course Citibank uses their own model to determine eligibility for approval (on one of *their* cards) so that score may not mean all that much.

They do not use the same agency.

Citi Card = Equifax
Discover Card= Transunion

worked.... awesome! thanks.

It's so annoying that there are so many different type of scores.

So I know the score Credit Karma gives out is not the FICO score, but the score I received from this Citi page is higher than my CK score... So confusing...

Btw, for folks that have multiple cards with Citi and FICO score doesn't show up with your default selection, click on "View All Cards" link on the top on the page, select a different card, and then navigate to this page: https://www.cardbenefits.citi.com...ction.aspx

Mine showed up for Citi Diamond Preferred as well as Citi Aadvantage Platinum select card.

Hope that helps.
