Newegg

For those interested; not sure if anyone is looking for this particular router but might be good if you can stack this w/ NE Amex offer

Fantastic price for the Mercedes of routers, but tax in NJ sours it a bit.

Does anyone know if the Merlin firmware fixes a lot of the issues have been having with the stock firmware? I really want this router but the reviews are a little scary.

I've seen people stating that linking your amex offers saves you an additional $25. Making this $150 AR

I'd actually consider buying this, currently have the AC68U. But I'm finding more negative reviews then positive.

Got one for $150 after MIR and Amex offer. Don't forget some cash back site like 1.5%. Nice upgrade from AC66U.

most likely relate to firmware, based on past experience, Asus will fix it.

Other than AC2400 > AC1900, what does this do better than AC68U? I've had AC68U for less than half year now.

The main reason is its USB speed upgrade for me. Per Asus, it will be around 40-50MBps. So I don't need to have my NAS up all the time to reduce electricity bill. Just use this one as the 24x7 NAS.

Will have AC87U to cover my 1st floor and AC66U to cover the 2nd floor.

How many Watts does your NAS consume?!

How do you bridge them together? Any guide?
