Does it have GPS?
Yes, and it works well with the here app offline (although it's listed as only A-GPS).

Does it work with the T-mobile free for life 200MB data plan?
Although it is unlocked, it is not on the free 200MB data plan approval list.
Some have reported sporadic and time-limited success.
If anyone finds a way to make it work consistently with the T-mobile free 200MB data plan, please post!
However, it works on any paid data plan from T-mobile and others.

[Account specific, he who posted this please delete it] Actually, the final price will only be $80.99 and not $89.99 if you apply the '10% Off' coupon code SCDIXO74P36Q4, which would appear when you hover over the link "Show me how" located just above the eBay Bucks ad. I bought one using that code. Unfortunately, the link is gone now.

This has a Snapdragon 400 where the N7 has a 600. So yea it is faster. I own a 2013. Flawless device except quirky touchscreen issues due to improper grounding. It is only apparent when holding and interacting with a case on. There are software fixes also to help this. Still a little wonky sometimes while gaming though. I repurchased the N7 3-4 times since it was released (cracking, swimming, theft, children, etc)... if that tells you how big of an issue it is.

No it cannot. It can however, connect to the cell tower and use data connectivity for apps, video, audio, etc.

You need to have the tablet added to your plan as a device allowed on your plan.

On the other hand, if you have unlimited data and have hot spot/tethering available on your cell phone, you can hook this up using wi-fi.

Hope this helps.

good post, pretty much sums it up. I can tether off my phone, but it's not very reliable or cheap. Thinking about this for those rare times I need 200MB of free data from TM like a power outage. I have an LG Gpad 8.3 wifi and it's a great tab. It's hard to justify getting a fourth tablet so I'll have to pass.

I have the same reliability issue using tethering with my cell phone. So, I just stick to using my Note 4 for everything. Dang, that thing is big!

I have a Note II (bad ESN) for a media remote. Just for kicks I checked my Amazon account and I have 15 compatible android devices. That sounds about right. Smilie

That TM data for life would be nice but I have FreedomPop phones that do the same thing.

Actually, the Nexus 7 2013 has a Snapdragon S4 in it. The S4 is the previous generation of chips before the 400/600/800 line came out.
