The Fine Print:

Spotify® 60-Days Free Trial Offer Terms and Conditions

This offer (the “60-Days Free Trial Offer”), which is made to you by Spotify (as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use), entitles you access to the Spotify Premium Service (as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use) for a period of sixty (60) days free trial from the moment that you activate such trial period by submitting your payment details (the “Free Trial Period”). By submitting your payment details, (i) you accept the 60-Days Free Trial Offer, (ii) consent to us using your payment details in accordance with our Privacy Policy, (iii) acknowledge and agree to Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use and these 60-Days Free Trial Offer Terms and Conditions. If you decide that you do not want to become a paying user of the Spotify Premium Service, you have to cancel your subscription to the Premium Service by logging into your Spotify account and following the cancellation instructions prior to the end of your Free Trial Period. Otherwise, at the end of your Free Trial Period, you will automatically become a paying user of the Spotify Premium Service, and the credit card you provided will automatically be charged the Spotify Premium subscription fee each month, until you cancel your Premium Service subscription. If you wish to cancel your Premium Service subscription after the end of your Free Trial Period, you may do so by logging into your Spotify account and following the cancellation instructions. There are no refunds or credits for partial monthly subscriptions. If Spotify increases the monthly fee in the future, we will provide you notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. By continuing to use the Spotify Service after the price change takes effect, you accept the new price. You may only use this 60-Days Free Trial Offer once. If you have subscribed to the Premium or Unlimited service or have taken a 30-day free trial offer or 60-day free trial offer previously, you are ineligible for this 60-Days Free Trial Offer. The Spotify service may not be available on certain personal devices.

A limited number of 60-Days Free Trial Offers are available, while supplies last. This 60-Days Free Trial Offer expires and must be redeemed before the date advertised. Spotify reserves the right to earlier terminate this 60-Days Free Trial Offer at any time and for any reason. After such time of termination, Spotify shall not be obligated to redeem any further 60-Days Free Trial Offers.

Hmmm, I recently signed up for the 3 month spotify premium service (for a small fee)...should I just make a new account and use this when my original one ends? Or do it now and see if it'll add on to my current subscription? Please help if you can gents

**Spotify(R) 60-Days Free Trial Offer Terms and Conditions apply. ** Users who have subscribed to the Premium or Unlimited service or who have taken a trial are ineligible for this offer.

You will most likely have to make a new account to get this offer. See if there is a way to pause your paid subscription

Thanks OP. Combining this with T-Mobile's "Music Unlimited" benefit I'm gonna have a fun time with music.

Spotify = choose the exact song you want to listen to
Pandora = choose a genre or radio station you want to listen to

It comes down to whether you want to listen to full albums all the way through, or choose the exact song you want, versus putting on a curated radio station. Spotify also has a radio function, though I don't think it's as good as Pandora's algorithm. HTH.

oh well. i signed up anyway using a different email. used the same paypal account from last time and didn't encounter any problem. but just for good measure, i cancelled this preapproved payments from my paypal so in case i forget to cancel before the trial ends, i won't get charged! Wink

Do they charge your account first, then refund you the money once you cancel?

Do they still have the $4.99 computer only accounts? I have no interest in playing through a phone or other mobile.

I'm not really into music streaming and currently using the 3-mo trial that was posted last month and it's fine for listening to playlists or if you want a specific song, but the discover mode isn't so good. Is Pandora better for that?
