Does one need to be a member of the TTIA to capitalize of these discounts? Are you a member?

Heh, not bad for the Sea World tickets. There's actually another way to save at Sea World by buying season tickets. The trick here is if you buy a 4-pack for $219 ($54.75 each), you can get 8 people in with these four tickets. It's a round-about way to do it, but here goes:

Buy a four pack and go to Sea World with up to 8 people. Four people go in with the printed out tickets and come back out with their hands stamped. They give the tickets to the other four outside who then go to the season ticket processing booth and get their pictures taken and their season ticket cards. Those four will use the season pass cards to get in the gate and the other four will come back in with their stamped hands.

I used to live in SA and we used this method when we had some friends come in from out of town. It was nice because they could get in for the day and we were able to get season tickets to come back as we pleased.

Do the San Antonio SeaWorld tickets have dates on them or you can go on any date during 2008?

You do not have to be a member of TTIA.

They are an association of fun stuff in texas. I don't know how (because NO ONE has good seaworld discounts) but they have such good deals.

just an update
***UPDATE*
Space center Houston discount isn't that great. I was interested in getting it, but space center houston has flyers everywhere for 1/2 gate price. gate price is like 18.75 or something. So it's cheaper to find these flyers. We got ours at McDonalds.

I'm a little confused

Step 1: Buy the 4 pack
Step 2: Go to park with 8 people
Step 3: Have 4 people enter the park
Step 4: Have those 4 leave
Step 5: Give the print outs to the season ticket booth
Step 6: ?????
Step 7: 4 Season passes (paid for somehow?), and 4 people enter for free?

Basically passing back the tickets. The four people that leave the park have their hands stamped for reentry. They pass off the season tickets to the 4 people on the outside, who use the tickets to enter. The first group uses their stamped hand for entry. You can purchase the pack of season passes from Krogers or HEB, I think. There are commercials on TV for them all the time in the summer.

So you can enter the park without photo ID for the season tickets?

So its kinda like this?

Step 1: buy 4 season tickets (54.95 online)
Step 2: have 4 people enter park
Step 3: get those to leave with a stamp
Step 4: have 4 more people come in with the same season ticket the previous 4 had?

Couldn't this work with 2+ people?

Yes, it can work with 2+ people. For every season pass you buy, you can get 2 people in the park on the first day. The reason I said 4 passes for 8 people is because you get a discount when you buy a 4-pack.

When the people leave the park and get their hands stamped, the people waiting outside take the tickets and go directly to the season ticket processing station as they can't get into the park through the front gates because the tickets have already been scanned for the day. Of course, if you go through the front gate and they tell you that it's already been scanned you can just say you forgot to get your hand stamped and they will direct you to the season ticket processing station.

Previous years i've purchased my tickets for my other family members for about $10.00 bux. How? What you do is wait until 2 hours before the parks close and then enter for free. Sea World Texas stops charging 2 hours before park closes. This is YMMV as they have been know to stop charging much earlier than that in the past. How do i know? I've been a season pass holder for 12+ years.

Oh yeah, the $10.00 ticket part, if you find a discarded 1 day admission ticket to the park on the ground, simply pick it up, take it to guest relations or season pass processing and tell them you would like to upgrade it to a season pass. That's it. Voila! You're done and now you have a season pass for about $10.00 bux. The only time it's more is if someone bought the ticket with a discount or the like. I do this for my family on a yearly basis and they always nag me "did you find any tickets today?".laugh out loud

Cheers to my fellow S/D'ers.
