Not True. I can confirm that I got the $25 credit using this device ( HP Stream 7). Just followed this. http://www.microsoft.c
These HP Stream devices qualify for the gift card offer. You must redeem the offer from your HP Stream to validate the offer.
HP Stream 13 Laptop
HP Stream 11 Laptop
HP Stream 11 x360
There is no code to "pay forward". $25 off $75 expired last week. STOP BEGGING
The $25 credit you receive with the purchase of the tablet is for the app store and cannot be used to buy the tablet, and, "payforward" for such reason.
There is a 5% off coupon if you text MSSTORE to 29502 found in a previous deal. (You can use your google voice number to do this as well.)
If you have purchased a 7 inch Windows tablet like the HP Stream 7 or Toshiba Encore Mini, Microsoft's Joe Belfiore says you'll be able to upgrade to Windows 10 while retaining the ability to run desktop apps.
If you buy this tablet, use IE in tablet mode for your web browser. Do not try to use Chrome or Firefox or you will be frustrated - they run like crap on these tablets, while IE runs like butter.
To get your office product key, go to the activation screen and click to activate. A link will open in IE looking something like this:
Quote :login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1425231033&rver=6.1.6166.0&wp=MBI_SSL&wreply= https:%2F%2Fofficesetup.getmicrosoftkey.co m%2FSecured%2FLiv eAuth%3Fvalue%3DKD0XJ-JSD80-SL0ZJ-SAL9B-ZL38A%26source%3DO3BE&lc=1033&cb=cb %3Doffice15&loref=https:%2F%2Fofficesetup.getmicrosoftkey.com%2FHome%2F32DSig nOut&id=2352&wfresh=0&cbcxt=office15
You can actually go to: officesetup.getmicrosoftkey.com and enter your code to check it.
Enter your code and click "Get Started". If you get an error message, the code is incorrect. If it takes you to a login page (or a "select your country" page), the code is correct.
Just thought that the universal headphone buzz issue with this tablet should be mentioned to people who are considering buying it.
