One drive has this really cool offer to all who can confirm that they had a dropbox account but want to move to one drive.

This will be helpful for the one who missed the 100GB(2 Year) offer a week ago

OneDrive only allows a maximum of 20,000 files per account.
- No longer seems to be the case for consumer accounts -> https://onedrive.uservoice.com/fo...drive-as-w (averwind)

After 1 year nothing will happen to what you have uploaded. You can still download/stream etc you just won't be able to upload anything. At that time you can find another deal and move your stuff, enjoy the free ride again... (averwind)

No, the earlier deal was not for 200GB. It was 100GB for 2 years. Don't be shocked if you see you have "only" ~215GB after doing this deal. (averwind)

This is a nice find and it's stackable with the Bing bonus.

Thank you for posting. It took less than a minute to get the 100GB of free space. For your convenience, I have written up the steps to get this promotion.

1) Click here [onedrive.com] to go to the OneDrive promotion
2) Click the "Verify and get my storage" button
3) Sign into your Microsoft account, or create a new account here [live.com]
4) Click the "Save to Dropbox" button to add a small OneDrive document to your Dropbox
5) Sign into your Dropbox account, or create a new account here [dropbox.com]
6) Click the "Save" button
7) You should see a message of "Your bonus storage was successfully applied!"

I just transferred 8GB of files from my Dropbox to my OneDrive last evening, so this promotion is perfect for me.
