this show any good? I've always been a Picard and Janeway fan, that's as far as I've gone

Enterprise is by far the worst Star Trek series. Disgusting grim-dark every single episode, take itself too seriously, and is mind-blowingly boring the rest of the time.

Enterprise was a series I hated when it first came out. I recently rewatched the entire series on Netflix and boy was I wrong. It really starts to pick up in the second season, and really starts to sizzle when it was untimely cancelled. Give it a chance, I'm glad I did.

You couldn't pay me enough to watch this shit show again. Ok.. you could. But you'd have to pay me a lot. It's pretty damn terrible.

For all 4 seasons it's $73, 25 Blu rays. $5 to ship in from the UK but still a great deal. Each has season in the US between $50-70 each, so this is great deal. In for 1

I picked the DVD set up before the holidays for half this price; I'm tempted to order the BD set now, esp. that hubby hasn't even opened up the DVD set yet LOL This was his fave series, after TOS; I've never watched it.

So what you're saying is... Quantum Leap would be a better deal at this price?

I thought it was pretty decent. Picks up in season two. I think it could have went 3 more seasons.

Except you aren't charged until the item ships at Amazon so the exchange rate could fluctuate.

Personally (and as a Star Trek fan), I enjoyed this series. I re-watched all 4 seasons on Amazon Prime recently, and, like TNG, the first season was a bit wobbly. But Enterprise got its legs after that. The 3rd season story line (don't want to put up any spoilers) was a risk that worked (for me, anyway), but didn't work for anyone new discovering the show.

And considering what JJ Abrams did to "Trek history", it's the only show not affected by his new timeline.

What ticks me off the most is the series finale. Berman showed no respect at all, IMO. Again, no details as to avoid spoilers for new viewers.

The last 2 seasons were solid. It got cancelled right as it was really good

Exactly. TNG and DS9 took a couple of seasons to ramp up and the payoff was well worth it. I feel Enterprise was the same but not the show wasn't given a chance.

I recently re-watched it on Netflix and it's held up well especially considering it is almost 14 years old.
