If your pc was built in the last 10 years you should be able to use this with no problems.

Deal really depends on this...
Not shoprunner elegible, but here [tigerdirect.com] is a fan for $3 AR with free shipping. I haven't found better, yet

if it is not shop runner eligible, you still need to pay $4.99 shipping on the SSD. I could find a bunch of non-shoprunner items under $0.50

If you purchase this MMA Bundle + This SSD + Use the $10 Off $100 Anniversary Coupon, you could theoretically have this SSD for ~$40 AR + S&H when all is said and done.

The fan has free shipping, so when purchased with the SSD, there's no shipping charge. It's not shoprunner 2-day though, just econo-shipping. Most other cheap things don't come with free shipping, so there's that ~$5 shipping.

This [tigerdirect.com] is FAR and SR eligible. It is a new rebate that just started on 03/01/15. However, if you purchase it individually, you can't do the MMA Bundle.

Thanks TDMVP, the IDE CD/DVD drive looks like it's $40-$20 MIR = $20. The MMA bundle would be a good deal with this, I probably should have jumped on board with that instead.

Ah, darn. Looks like they raised the price on it at midnight ET. It was FAR + Free Shipping (and SR eligible) yesterday.

Yeah, I think that's probably the best bet. I mean, the previous 240 GB OCZ Arc 100 SSD MMA Bundles were ~$35 AR Shipped.

I think I'd rather have a 256 GB Crucial MX100 for only ~$10 more.

I got in on a 240GB ARC100 deal a few weeks back for $70AR. Nice drive, but I would have paid another $20 (eg, this deal) instead, but the price on the MX100 wasn't budging for weeks. What I'm trying to say is, I endorse this deal.

PS - funny how prices on specific models you're looking at for weeks only drop once you pay the full price or buy something else. I could swear it really does work that way.

Kind of sucks how I'll be getting this at around $86.50 AR (I used a Belkin mousepad as filler).

I purchased previously at $85 with no rebate.

Here is a side-by-side comparison: LINK [userbenchmark.com]

If I had to choose between the two at the same price, I'd probably get the MX100 because it has the Marvell controller.
