Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share.

NOTE: This product is backed by a Lifetime Warranty if you register with the manufacturer (XFX).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

XFX has a better warranty I believe. i believe its a lifetime warranty and its a transferable warranty also if you choose to resell it.

I bought this card during the last deal, loving it so far
I personally like xfx. i recently rma'd my old HD6870s and they upgraded them to R9 270 even though only one was faulty. Lifetime warranty is a plus for me.

your 6870s are still covered by a warranty? Aren't those cards a couple of years old?

Should have explained myself lol. I was rocking 2 6870 in xfire but i was having problems with freezing and bluescreens so i set up an rma. I didnt have a back up card so i switched to 1 card until i found a suitable replacement. Bought the R9 280 and sent both 6870 in for rma service. Xfx found 1 card to be defective and they upgrade both cards to R9 270s 2gb even though only 1 was fried

someone correct me if im wrong here.
i read that thr sapphire 280 takes 2 6 pin plugs and thr xfx takes 1 6pin and 1 8pin.
My dell 9100 has a 525w psu with 2 spare 6pin connectors.
I was only watching the sapphire because of that but if i can run the xfx ill get that instead. can anyone advise?

ah! That makes more sense. So how much did the RMA cost total(shipping and return shipping) and how fast was the service. I wonder if any other brand offers lifetime.

cost me about $10 to ship to xfx they shipped the cards out free and it took about 2 weeks for the whole process.I live in California so shipping might have been a bit faster for me.
