You do not need a visa card to use VISA Checkout. We recently had a very popular deal for a 2-pack on the frontpage for $50

Altatac via Rakuten

2-pack was frontpaged last month for $50 ($25/camera) so $20 should be a no brainer.

You should probably put a price in the title

Looks like you need to use visa checkout, so it's not a concern.

I guess I already used the visa checkout promo on this account, so I either need a new account... or resist the temptation to buy something I really don't need.

Q: Does this take clear video/pictures?

A: No. It is 480p with a cheap sensor. Unless the subject is within yards from the camera and unmoving, it's highly unlikely that you will get a clear shot of someone's face.

What about "previously frontpaged"? Like that holds any merit shake head

What if you live outside the U.S. and the subject is within meters from the camera? Will it still work?

Funnily enough, even though I'm in the U.S., I've so far found that everything I've ever seen with my own eyes has been within yards of me. So this may not be a concern.

Totally agree with you guys. This is so annoying, like as if it is part of the product name or something. Slickdeals should ban using certain keywords on the title such as "HOT", "it's back", "lowest ever", "ONLY", ...

People, those words belong in the body/description, so please don't put it in the title. It's too much clutter.

At this price point and given the specs (vga cmos sensor), you aren't going to get a "clear" picture of anything more than 5 feet.

Gonna think about buying this for puppy's play area. Got one for his crate already. Just need something to make sure he's not up to no good if I leave him alone in a room.

If anything this is only worth using indoors or mounting on your front door so that anyone walks up to the doorstep you get a catch of their face.

I have about 8 of these cameras. They are the only wifi cloudbased cameras in the market that you will ever find for this price.

The clarity is fine for general survelliance purposes. If you have a requirements for detailed pictures where you want to zoom in and do investigative measures, this camera is not for you. However, if you want an extra set of eyes and the convenience of mobile connectivity then this will work.

As for the contrast and low light conditions, it sucks in a dark room with no light. Cant see crap. However, if you have it placed in a room with adequate lighting you can control the cameras contrast and brightness to get a clearer night picture. I use one camera for my driveway and the street light post is enough light for me to see.

You can also adjust the image quality up to 480p fine.

Dont take my word for it. Try it, it's only $20 with free shipping. today's lunch was about $10.

Another tip, hack the casing and place the camera in a custom housing such as a clock, pringles can, picture frame etc etc. cheap cam for R&D!
