This is the cheapest plan I've ever seen so far.

https://www.metropcs.com/content/...ns-get-one

You have to go to local store to open an account and port your old number. In addition, purchasing phones from MetroPCS is required to get the lines activated. The phones are cheap too but without 4G LTE supported.

Also, for 2 lines family plan, you are eligible to buy one get one free for the phone.

Enjoy!

Got this news from Cricket Wireless post 2 days ago. It seems great for me if I can use my own unlocked phone.

love how they use huge fonts and say unlimited data. then there is a little star and you have to scroll down to learn that only the first 1GB of data at up to 4G speeds. anyone know what they throttle you down to afterwards?

In 2012 the average data usage was just 450 MB per month, according to Nielsen, the prediction of the usage in 2015 is 1.8gb monthly.

Been on MetroPCS for about a year. After the 1st 1GB you get throttled to 3G speeds. But I just got a notice that my 4G cap is now 2GB.

That's weird. You can't buy an LTE phone and get this plan, you have to get the $40 plan.

That's because LTE phones are excluded. They mean 4G HSPA+ devices not 4G LTE devices.

I know, but I want to buy the LG F60 because I like everything about it ASIDE from LTE. But I can't use it as a 4G phone on this plan even if I don't need LTE.
