First post, so go easy on me!

GE Link Starter Kit
Link Hub + 2 GE Link A19 Light Bulbs $25 + free shipping available in the Wink store:
http://www.wink.com/products/ge-l...arter-kit/

Same price on Amazon (thanks @mavalpha):

Also, still available for pickup at Home Depot:

The GE Link Starter Kit bundles 2 A19 bulbs with the Link Hub, so you can connect your lighting to the Wink app and control it from anywhere with no additional hardware required. Once connected, you can remotely operate or automate lights from your smartphone. Bonus: GE Link lighting is energy efficient; these use 80% less power than traditional bulbs.

-Soft white, indoor light bulb dimmable via the Wink app
-Starter Kit

What's the difference between those hubs, except size?

I believe the smaller "Link" only has a Zigbee radio in it, so much less options to connect up with devices.

Yeah, this smaller hub only controls the lights, the normal wink hub controls everything. I use the staples connect hub though.

Can this hub communicate with my Nest?

My home is not very large, so will the little hub be able to handle a bulb upstairs and another downstairs?

Thanks!!!! been wanting to upgrade the home. will finally do that.

BTW does anyone know how much the Link lite actually sells for?

Also, if this helps anyone... I am purchsing directly from winks website... i am purchasing lights for the whole house. so will purchase 10 of these. you get a free wink hub if your order is over $100.
hoping to get more savings on these bulbs. i already have a hub. so hopefully will save a few more $$s.

2 purchases of $125 each + taxes comes upto $135. = $270.
2 orders include a total of 20 bulbs + 10 Hub Lites + 2 Hubs.
i am guessing hub lites are pretty useless and wont sell for a lot. hoping to get around $10 for the hub lite and 30ish for the regular hubs.
if i get that much for the hubs... my total will be around $100 for 20 wink bulbs.

Thank Op!

I believe the smaller hub (Lite) is for lights only.

No this cannot communicate with your nest. You should get the regular wink hub of you want to go with the wink brand. If you order $100 on their site I think you get the main hub for free

Didn't realize this is for lights only..so the Staples Connect deal is somewhat a better deal then.

Just bought a single bulb for $15 from HD on Saturday. This is a SD for me. Returning my sinlge bulb for these two. Have the Iris hub from when they were $5, and got these GE Links to work decently well with it.

My wink hub is finally stable, but it was a long ride of not working well and being down here and there.

Is there a hub that works without requiring internet?
