I just got this email and it looks like a sweet deal. It may well be targeted. No reference has been found on the BlueBird site. have added a screenshot of the email.

Here's how to get $1 back every time you use your Card
somewhere new in April, May, and June

1) Use your Bluebird Card virtually anywhere American Express® Cards are accepted.
2) Get a $1 account credit the first time you spend at a merchant each month.
3) Keep using Bluebird at different merchants and get up to $50 in account credit each month in April, May, and June.

SMART TIP: USE BLUEBIRD AND WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT CREDITS GROW

+$1 Grab your morning coffee +$1 Buy a slice of pizza +$1 Fill up your car with gas +$1 Pick up groceries for dinner +$1 Go to a movie = $5 Account credits

Just make sure every place has a different name—that's how you can tell if your purchase qualifies for a $1 back!

Receive a $1 account credit to your Bluebird Account for each eligible purchase or payment using your Bluebird Card that appears on your Bluebird Account statement and is made between April 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015. Limit of fifty dollars ($50) in total account credits per calendar month during the offer period. (Up to $1 in account credits per merchant per month, for a total of up to $3 per merchant during the offer period). If you do not reach the monthly account credit limit of fifty dollars ($50) in a given calendar month, you will not be eligible for more than fifty dollars ($50) in account credits the following month. ATM, Pay Bills, Send Money, Bluebird Check transactions, and transfers to linked bank accounts, Sub-Accounts or SetAside Accounts are not eligible purchases or payments for purposes of the offer. Merchants are responsible for submitting transaction information to us, and if American Express does not receive information from the merchant that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive any account credit. Purchase transactions may fall outside of the month in which you made the purchase if there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction information to us. Account credit will normally be applied to your Bluebird Account promptly after your eligible purchase or payment transaction clears, but could take up to thirty (30) days. Account credit may be reversed if a qualifying transaction is reversed or cancelled. Offer expires June 30, 2015, and is subject to change or cancellation at any time.

i did some legwork here:
i checked my email and didnt see anything so i called the # on the back of the card and asked for the promo. took like 20 mins and the chick said no go on this promo bc i didnt have a 'walmart savings catcher account'. i dont know anything about those, but apparently, you can open a bluebird via a 'savings catcher' or online at bluebird.com. i asked her if i could get a 'savings catcher' and then call back and get the promo and she said no.

Just got the email also. Good thing I planned to use my Bluebird card this month. Now I'll definitely use it more often over the next three months.

It's either/or right... you can't have both a Serve and Bluebird?

You can't redeem rebate cards on Bluebird anymore right? This thing might finally have another use as long as I spend less than $10 at a place. Any extra fine print for a minimum purchase?

Seems like a lot of work, going to 50 "different named" gas stations.
