Not sure if this is an unadvertised special or a mistake, but Visa and Mastercard GC's are ringing up with no fees at both OfficeMax and Office Depot right now. No telling how long it'll last, but a great deal while it does -- especially for those who have Chase Ink or other 5x office supply store cards. I just crushed this to the tune of $6k at both OD and OM, and I'm sure others will do much more. Have fun!

Anyone know if OfficeMax store credit can be used to purchase Visa/MC gift cards? I have about $700 worth of store credit (in the form of OM gift cards) that has been lying around unused for several months.

Not a deal for me, the fact that you are paying more than what it is actually worth is a ripoff (such as with fees). Getting equal value for what you pay is not really a deal... a deal is when you are getting more than what you paid... i'll hold onto my cash for now.

I scored a bunch of $200 VGCs with my Ink. I have drained them all back to my bank account.

Yup, I'm pretty new to manufactured spending, but this is MS 101:

1) Prepaid Target Red Card
2) AMEX Bluebird
3) Walmart Money Orders

Google any of those things, then prepare to take a lot of free trips...although it may begin to slowly consume your life, lol look around

I thought they killed this deal yesterday. Otherwise I would have made a trip. Hopefully it's still on tomorrow.
