I wonder how well it'd work for the receiving end of Steam in-home streaming. It is a cute little box, and decently priced.

no gaming, no photoshop, no hyper-v, not much storage. other than those, it's powerful enough to run chrome, MS office, 1080p everything. it's fan less which is great for HTPC.

It won't have any issues with 1080p. This, and even the previous generation Celeron series, have sufficient integrated graphics. Streaming and just about any file played via VLC or XBMC/Kodi will run silky smooth.

Ok. that's all good. thanks for the follow up on the performance concerns. but what can be done about that powder-blue 70s tuxedo look? Smilie

The laptop (which has similar hardware) seems to perform quite well.

Bought one of these for the parents. Plays 1080P just fine. Gets the job done but dont expect gaming. Probably no photoshop either but thats not what you are going to be buying it for.
