The pictured drill is available from Black and Decker's refurbished site for the same price still for those who missed it:
http://store.blackanddecker.com/2...B00W5M1RWG

Still includes drill, battery, and charger.
But shipping is almost $7, plus tax in CA.

Outlet has a 30% coupon too: spectrum30 but may not work on this drill.

Great deals. Just recently ordered the LST420R...could have saved $7 if I waited for this deal.

The edger is solid. I initially had a Wrox li-ion unit but it bugged me to no end that the batteries didn't interchange with my B&D 20v tools. Got this instead and I can swap the batteries around my drill and other 20v MAX stuff. A handy ecosystem.

The autosense drill is very good at this price. I would get a Matrix combo instead of the LDX220CR however.

Can't decide between the 4ah or 2x2ah batteries

I rarely use it for more than 15 mins consecutively, but I've never had the 4ah battery run out on me. And I often goes multiple uses without remembering to charge it up.

Probably can't go wrong either way. Having 2 batteries is always nice to have the spare charged and rotate them. I guess based on what I said above, the 2ah should be plenty for normal usage so it might make sense to get the 2x2ah.

So, I can buy two batteries [ebay.com] for $89.99, or buy trimmer with two batteries for $53?

Good deal

Based on my recent experience, I would get 2x2ah batteries. I had 4ah and it just died, would be better to have a spare one.

Yep IMO the 2 batteries is what makes the price slick for that one. An added bonus is that as someone already mentioned the 20v batteries can be used on a slew of other b&d 20v tools.

Any blower's on sale that take these 20V batteries?

I too just bought the Worx blower + edger, but would rather have B+D.

craftsman line (if im not mistaken)
Definitely mistaken, this wont work in Craftsman since B+D has nothing to do with them and doesnt private label their tools.

would go with the 2x batteries that way you can use it on two different tools without having to swap out the batteries. But then if you have a large yard and are pretty sure you will need a larger capacity consistently then might make more sense for the 4Ah.

I have this combo, all of them are using the same battery.

Just ordered the 20V Autosense drill from Amazon 1 month ago. Love it, but at $40 less I'm willing to return and buy the refurb.

I'm tempted to get the 2 Battery edger just for the extra batteries. I don't even have a yard but for $50 for 2 batteries, it's mighty tempting.

I'm going with the 4ah trimmer since i'm also getting a drill and maybe saw, It doesn't seem to say but I assume the battery included with those is the 2ah. Otherwise I'll agree with the others saying its nice to have that second battery, even if they don't last as long.
