This is the very latest model with ForceTouch, Model: MF839LL/A SKU: 8532557.

Specs: http://www.everymac.com/systems/a...specs.html

The 10% USPS mover's coupon can be used. Pick up at your local post office or visit the USPS website for online details to obtain one.

The $50 Student Discount can be used. Need a .EDU email address to confirm and receive coupon.

YMMV but both coupons can be combined and accepted by the BBY cashier system. If the store manager has to manually override the price to match the website then you may not have the best luck getting the manual override along with both coupons.

As of 4/21/2015 this model was on sale in the Atlanta area for $1234.99 requiring a manual override to $1099.99.

Slickdealers should be aware of potential issues with the retina screen, long term, which might affect the overall value of this MBP.

Do NOT pay someone $5 for a 10% off mover's coupon - get it for $1 (CC verification) at USPS.com and cancel the address change before it takes place - https://moversguide.usps.com/icoa...main-flow&

Anyone know how to price match? I bought it online last time with mover's coupon at the price of $1234 (before mover's coupon)...

Watch for a price drop on the 8gb ram, 256gb SSD version. I was able to scoop an open box for around $1150+tax after mover's coupon. Laptop looked brand new and has worked flawlessly.

Why this thing on sale too much and too soon this year? I thought it never drops more than $200 until Black Friday so I pulled the trigger Frown

My store wouldn't let me use the mover's coupon, only the $50 EDU one (online only).
Issue was: System rang up the price as 1234.99 so they had to price match it to 1099. After doing this, the computer system wouldn't allow the mover's coupon or even the $50 student discount =\

The dumbest thing Apple did was solder-on the memory. I'm holding on to my 16GB, 13" nRMBP for dear life.

128 is kind of low for a Pro model. For the Air and the new Macbook, its understandable, but the Pro is targeted to audiences that need more. I personally have not found any motivation to upgrade from my late 2013 with 512, since I bought it for $1100 back in the day.
