I don't see anything about free RAM on the product page or when I add to cart. Am I missing something?

EDIT: Nevermind, now it's showing up.

adding the ssd to the cart added the ram automatically for me. just make sure u actually view cart and not just look at # of items in cart after u added the ssd. It showed 1 item for me till i viewed the cart directly

Can I return the RAM and get a 204-pin laptop version?

Sweet price, but I'm still gonna hold off for now. Looks like there's still room for price drops in the future for SSD's. You could probably sell the RAM for $20 shipped, making the price of the SSD ~$83 or so.

"We regret to inform you that your order could not be completed. While our website may have indicated an in-stock status, one or more items in your order were not in stock at the time your order was to be fulfilled."

Newegg sent me an out of stock (ram) email lol. The gift ram stick was removed from my order and they charged my credit card $99 already for the SSD. Order status is now packaging, the cancel button has disappeared.

Yes, even when it's the next month or two. This is a great offer if delivered. I think I bought 2 sticks of that exact RAM, and a couple of 250GB 850s... for $55 more Cool

A bunch of us had that happen with the MyProtein whey protein from the UK. Seems every two weeks they have a big discount coupon. They scam you into buying multiple things at discount, ship the profitable items you buy, then a day later tell you your main order of heavily discounted whey is cancelled. They've done that every sale. Scam Scam Scam. I just had Newegg ship me the wrong laptop last week. Had to take photos to show how incompetent they were.

Jason,

That sounds like an ordering system related issue because both items are in stock. Try contacting Newegg via online chat [newegg.com] and they should be able to either cancel your order or send you the memory at no cost.

You might have to place an order for just the memory alone, and then once it ships, they will credit it back to you. Just explain what happened to the CSR and they should be able to rectify it. Sometimes things like this happen when their system acts up.
