The only funny story I have is when I tried to buy some Durex at Target
My DS says we don't need that, you already have 20 boxes at home! The cashier was laughing so hard.. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I should probably add... the cashier didn't take the q,cause she thought it was for the larger boxes and I didn't question it.

I was at Big Lots and the woman wasn't going to take the 20% off coupon because she said that is the discount that employees get.

I had a CVS CRT that sat in the sun and started turning black (but was still readable and scannable). Cashier said he couldn't take it because it was a "copy."

Target - I had $1 off coupon and the product was .99 cents. The cashier was a noob and said we can't take it. I said adjust the price to 99 cents he said he can't. Manager comes over and says if they do that, it is ILLEGAL. I laughed in their face and left.

Cashier at Walgreens told me they didn't take internet coupons...I was using the $5/20 printed directly from the walgreens site with the logo on top.

When I first started shopping cvs, I tried using 2 - $1 coupons off any All Small & Mighty.. on... 2 All Small & Mighty detergents..

The system wouldn't take them.. The supervisor said that if it beeped, there was nothing he could do, 'cause if it beeped, they wouldn't get reimbursed (that's the part.. b/c I now know he could have pushed it through, especially since it was a legit coupon on the right product)

ooooooo that happened to me at Office Max ! They said that my coupon couldn't be combined with any other offer.. and a "sale" was another "offer" !

I was buying verbatum dvd's on sale for $19.99 and I had a $10 off $20 coupon.. the cashier kept looking at me like I was the crazy one.. she kept saying, "you're already getting $40-50 off because it's on sale".. like only an idiot wouldn't appreciate such savings off their overpriced merchandise by trying to use a coupon on it..

She was so frustrating.. I mentioned how Staples lets me use coupons on sale items all the time.. and she actually tried to tell me that Staples did no such thing ! I started to get a little mad.. I told her that Staples even lets me use Office Max coupons on Staples sale items.. and she just kept up with the "no, I know they don't do that" The manager backed up this broken, and inaccurate, record..

I called OM customer relations.. who called the store.. and I got my dvd's for $10.. no apology though..

Needless to say, I don't shop there.. Staples gets my money

I had a $10 Rite Aid Gift Check from the "gift of savings" promotion and old lady cashier said I couldn't use it because the items I bought were on sale. The funny thing is, she couldn't get the gift check to scan at all and figured that was the reason... oh but first she said they couldn't take it because they used to be Eckerd.
