Howdy, folks.

I'm always on the lookout for deals from Geekbuying as they are my favorite Chinese etailer.
I found a deal on a cool dual-boot mini-PC and I wanted to post up here for people that are similarly interested in these Smart TV Boxes that double as a full computer.

CLICK ME: PIPO X7s Dual-Boot Windows 8.1 & Android 4.4 Mini PC - $109.99 A/C + FREE SHIP [geekbuying.com]

Use Coupon: UQJXPODC
Expire Date: April 28th, 2015

Price is now listed on their promo page as $99.99 with no coupon code needed, still includes free shipping.
[geekbuying.com]

Pipo (for those unfamiliar) is a solid company that offers tablets, phones, and TV Boxes and is considered a top-ten, "name brand" in China.
This is part of the Deals page [geekbuying.com] from Geekbuying.com and after digging around I cannot find a better price anywhere in the market.

Enjoy!!

Just some additional info.....

I have asked on their site-chat feature if it is guaranteed in stock and I was told by, "Apple" that they have plenty that are ready to ship.
I also learned that these just came off of Pre-Order status so make sure sellers have confirmed stock if you shop around.

I am still trying to find a full review of the product for you guys and will post one here if I do.

Trying to find the best way to maximize use of touchscreen input with the Android side of it, myself. Looks like a great little machine for the specs/price. Thanks OP Smilie

If you find anything useful, please post up.
If it is just a fluff piece from a reseller, skip that unless it seems absolutely objective.
Thanks!

No worries.
Happy to help.
I'm hoping that one of these techie-guys with know-how on how to do something like that shows up.
Can you imagine this......?
You own a car with built-in WiFi, you install a 10-15" touchscreen, and place this unit behind the dash of your car.
You would have a full featured PC / Theater / Navigation / Internet / Stereo in your vehicle for a few hundred bucks max.

Tempted to pull the trigger, but there's no reviews out there yet - unsure if the cooling problems have been solved :S

Usually these hacks only come with trial windows, you don't get a key

Subscribing before pulling the trigger. Looking for an HTPC to run Popcorntime and serve up local files. Anything out there that would be better/cheaper for this though?

Unless its android TV which this is not then 4.4 leaves much to be desired on a TV. Now windows on a TV is pretty good but a $70 unbranded tablet can give you that plus the ability to disconnect from the TV and use it as a actual tablet.

Combine that with this more than likely being a trial windows and geekbuyings shady customer service makes this a terrible deal. You would be much better off buying $100 worth of lottery tickets

Help me out - is there a reason I'd want to occasionally boot up in Android instead of Windows
(I can't think of one)? Otherwise I'd go for the (otherwise identical?) Windows-only version for $103 (because I'm a tightwad). Thanks.

Just Google, "Pipo" and you will see the massive amount of products that they have released over the years.
They would be comparable to companies such as Onda, Cube, or Teclast that are far more mainstream in China but also have a healthy presence here in the US.

Check Arctablet [arctablet.com], Vondroid [vondroid.com], Freaktab [freaktab.com], or XDA-developers for user forums that are specifically devoted to Pipo devices.

Apps that might be built to run on Android only?
I'm sure there are practical reasons that I'm unaware of.
Now that you ask the question I'd like to know a bit more as well.
