To get the offer, do not use any direct links or the link in the wiki. It will NOT contain the $50 statement credit. Instead go to United.com and search for any flight, on the second page to the right hand side you'll see an advertisement that has the 50,000 + 5,000 + $50 offer.

It's possible to get the following bonus on the Chase United card:
  • $50 after your first purchase
  • 50,000 points after you make $3,000 in purchases within three months
  • 5,000 points when you add an authorized user and they make their first purchase within three months

There is no direct link, but if you search for a flight on United website on the first page of the seach results to the right hand side you'll see the offer. Comes with all of the standard benefits:
  • Free first checked bag
  • Priority boarding
  • No fees on foreign transactions
  • 2 United ClubSM passes per year
  • Chip-enabled Card provides added security
  • 10,000 Bonus Miles when you spend $25,000 in net purchases on your Card each year
  • Earn 2 miles per dollar spent on tickets purchased from United
  • Earn 1 mile per dollar spent on all other purchases
  • Miles don't expire

Will these miles count towards your Gold / Silver premier status? I bet not, but a man can hope...

55K in miles is equivalent to...? My new position requires significant travel, most on United. Seeing if this will benefit me.

I applied for the same offer back in Dec, the $50 statement credit was not on the offer itself, but showed up on my account after my first purchase.
