I applied, got the standard
"we need more time will contact you within 10 days".

In the "old days" I would hold out for $500 bonus,
but $300 is OK with me. Smilie

The good part is that you can hit it again in 24 months from now!

I have the Chase Bold and my Annual fee is coming up. I want to keep my 100,000 Ultimate eRewards points. Can I apply for this one and just swap cards? Like put my points in this card and then close my Bold?

Yes. Was there additional income since then? I only had Chase deny me once due to income but calling a second time got it approved after sending in some paperwork.

No. Spend on anything as long as it's not cash advance or similar.

Yes or you can downgrade if it didn't get approved. You don't have any other Chase cards? I recommend adding the Freedom to your list.

Just note that the Ink Cash doesn't offer the 1:1 transfer of Ultimate Rewards points to travel partners like Southwest, United, Marriott etc. So if this feature is important to you, you'll want to keep the Chase Bold, unless you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card or plan on opening one, which also offers this feature. If you are only interested in the cash back value of the Ultimate Rewards points, then Chase Ink Cash should be fine.

yes you can, , as long as you have one card with UR points, (chase freedom) then you can keep it alive when you close your other cards

Note that the Chase personal cards and business cards use different online accounts so a Freedom won't work to save your Ink Bold points.
