Update: #AmexHomeDepot has reached max capacity.

------------------------

Twitter: #AmexHomeDepot

HD amex offer was in 2 of my 4 AMEX accts, but after twittering, they're in my other two too. Smilie So check your amex offer first in your account if it's in there.

Twitter: #AmexWFM (for Whole foods)

--------------------------
I had both offers without Twitter.

===============================
Whole Food only sells their own GC per this post
Home Depot carries mostly restaurant GCs but you might find a surprise from your store.

For Home depot:
Confirmed third party gift cards purchased instore WORK! Bought 3x$100 visa gift cards with 4 cards and got credit 3 days later.

Refer to post 209 in case you're curious on how to maximize your offers yet stay low profile. -JackBurton

Does anyone know if Amazon gift cards will count in store? I know it says 3rd party cards are excluded but do they check what you buy in store?

It doesn't exclude 3rd party gift cards... it excludes gift cards sold by 3rd parties... there's a difference.

Gift card sold by a 3rd party would be something like buying an eGC that is processed by a company other than Home Depot. For example, if you buy a Staples eGC from staples.com, it's processed by CashStar and not Staples.

Buying any GC in store should work.

If they sell GC online, may be someone can try it out to see if it works. Smilie
